There is not much here but it is amazing to look down into a Minuteman silo and see the nose cone of the Missle sitting on top of a rocket. It is also incredible how close it is to the Interstate highway. You can see the passing traffic from the site.

You can look "nose to nose" with part of our cold war history. It really brings home how serious things were. it
This is the history buff in me coming out. Standing in this middle of nowhere place which is simply grass and gravel isn't all that entertaining. Realizing you are standing on top of an old missile silo and being able to see the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile through a glass viewing area as well as taking in what it all means was priceless to me. Having lived through parts of the Cold War it helped bring many things into perspective.
