This is one of my 2 favorite overlooks in the park, the other being Pinnacles. The yellow layers here are really interesting and break up the monotony of the, lets face it, miles and miles of gray rocks, which are beautiful but can start to feel like they are the same everywhere you go in the Badlands. There is also a really striking normal fault cutting the rocks in some of the hills here that is easily seen.
