A good experience. Traveling with pets. Outdoor pool. Rooms large and beds pillows very comfy. Continental breakfast included. Easy access outside entrances. Staff friendly.
Unfortunately, we experienced a few minor issues on our current stay. When we asked about the conditions of the roads in Badlands park, the receptionist just replied that she "didn't know about anything like that". Being a major tourist attraction (even in the dead of winter) I'd think the staff would at least have **some** information to pass on. Our room had three missing/burned out light bulbs so it was very dim and the heat register was **extremely** loud. It kicked on about every 15-20 minutes and even with earplugs in, I could hear it, which made for a really long night. Other than those few things, our overall stay was positive which is why I still gave it 4 stars. We'll stay here again!
Great location. I was concerned after only seeing it online. But I was very impressed with cleanliness. It was very nice & was perfect for me. Only reason I didn’t go 5 stars - I experienced some issues with my shower. Water cut off halfway through but it came back on after abt 30 seconds. That wasn’t even a big deal. And besides that I have no complaints.
We stayed here one night on the way home from Rushmore. I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. Everything was extremely clean and our room appeared to be recently remodeled. The staff was really friendly as well. When I factor in the price there is no way this motel gets less than 5 stars. I will definitely stay here again!
This is our third time staying here and this has been the first time we've experienced any "negatives". Let me start off by saying that overall, this is a nicely updated, clean establishment. The beds/pillows are very comfortable, plenty of towels provided. Nice continental breakfast offered in the morning. I recommend requesting one of the newer rooms on the 2nd floor for sure!
No nonsense economical motel. It was clean. A good choice if you don't want a lot of amenities that you won't need or use. I like the rooms without carpet. Carpet is disgusting. Easy access from the highway.
