A little dated, but perhaps that is part of the charm. There is nothing wrong with this little hotel. It took me back to the 1970s and early 1980s. If you want fancy this isn't your stop, but it is a perfectly fine place to crash on your way through South Dakota.
Decent inn in the wall. Nothing much in the town to see except for badlands national park
Check in went quick. Cable didn't work right away but they fixed it and were really friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast had biscuits and gravy and some cold items. It's my second stay and we will stay again.
On a long trip when you want to pull over and sleep, don't pull over here. They won't answer the phone or come to the desk at night. I ended up driving to kodoka to get a room.
Arrived at about 10 pm and got our keys and everything was fine. When we wanted more towels and cups they were given right to us. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was, while not the best I've had at a day's in, fine.
