Full honesty, it's not 5-stars in the same manner that a big city luxury hotel is 5-star. That said, while the appearance and interior decor are slightly dated, everything is in good simple shape. The rates were great ($85 after tax for a 2 bed room on a Friday night) and John, the owner, has outstanding customer service skills and is wonderfully friendly. A simple breakfast is offered in the morning. Everything is clean and tidy. I'm more accustomed to bigger city hotels with more amenities and up-to-date decor, but this hotel in Wall, SD was a nice overnight. It fits the uniqueness of Wall nicely and is perfectly located right next to Wall's main attractions. I recommend and have no reservations about staying here in the future. Well done!
Just one word amazing. Very good hospitable hosts. Good and clean bed. Coffee and muffins for early morning start. The owner is an elderly gentleman John who is a awesome person. We were caught up in traffic from our way to Wall from Denver and he still woke up at 2 am in the night to give us the keys when we reached and made sure we are in safely. The place is very near to Wall Drug store. Recommend. We traveled as couple in month of August.
I chose this inn on a whim as we just needed a nice place to stay for a couple of nights to explore and rest before a volunteer trip. From the very first phone call to book the room all the way to our check-out, the experience was great. The owner was so accommodating and friendly, which was really our favorite part. The room was very clean and comfortable (the bathroom especially so!), though we did have some trouble maintaining a wifi connection. Prime location down the street from Wall Drug! I'd love to come back.
Guy behind the counter is probably the nicest person we met all trip. Knew both my mom and my name's quickly. We were only there one night but I felt like I'd found a long lost grandpa. Clean rooms. Right off the strip. Great location.
Nice place with reasonable rates. Rooms are very clean & comfortable . John is a terrific host. He makes sure that your room is ready before you arrive and will take great care of you during your visit. It's a must stay if you're going to visit the Badlands & Wall. Great to meet you John!
